| Depending on the season you should not face too much issues with the clouds or with rain. During the rainy season (July-Oktober), the rain falls mostly in the late afternoon or night, in hte morning things should clear up. But you rather book for an emergency day here to have a second chance at it. When you arrive, it is pitch black, and a guide might give you a flashlight so you dont trip over the stones in the area. You will see quite some people occupying every spot on is allowed to sit on, but if you are early enough you should not have an issue getting a picture without a head on it. | ||

| There are two days in the year where the sun rises exactly in the center of the building, but I am not sure if it is so much more special, since you can move yourself on the wide lawn around to get that effect, and the central road is filled with people anyhow, so a clear shot down the center would not make the picture much better. | ||

| Once you approach the central temple and pass the two sidebuildings, you will see that there is a small lotus-covered pond in which the reflection of the sun and the main building make a perfect image. | ||

| Since most people have been wating here for 1-2 hours, most having breakfast they brought along, the people disperse once the sun has risen beyond the roof of the building and proceed to attend tours through the temple. | ||

Unfortunately monkeys are generally quite dangerous, specially when they are used to human food. Asians, who are used to monkeys are not approaching, but some westerners who are attracted by their cute behavior often get into trouble and loose next to their food the whole backpack. A bite is of course also nothing to laugh about. I dont know if anyone was yet seriously wounded on site, but for sure not killed like a minister in India recently. | |
