It is a well-known fact that Japanese have a problem studying English, but are not afraid to use it. However, it becomes more and more clear that the other way round is also true. However, Japanese tend to print wrong English on products & signs. The western world is more serious about showing their lack of language skills and gets a tattoo with wrong letters and hence weird meaning! This in return makes the Japanese angry, while westerners only make fun about Japanese mistakes. I wonder where this will head to. Japanese will surely not get a tatoo of whatever English since although having a big tradition, tattoos considered something quite bad in today's society, branding someone of being part of the Yakuza.
