Formula 1, Hungaroring, Budapest 2005

Trips & Sights
Here are the pictures from the Formula 1 in Budapest 2005! A day with a very hot weather, several crashes but no injured people...

The AMG Safety car that starts before the field, and the medical car that drives behind the starting field... Many preparations in the pits are going on, although the Renault GP2 race and the Porsche races are still to go first.
Ferrari has the by far most expensive equipment and the best position in the pits, as well as the most trucks for the support. Between the pits and the racetrack there are several monitors for every team to make statistics and monitor the race.
Some teams are still practicing the refueling. A person is sitting in the car, and some people push it into position. Then the other mechanics practice everything. On the second picture you can see the track from the pits where the cars go back into the race. Finally you can see a medical team doing the briefing before the race.
Here you can see the trucks behind the pits, how everything is covered and secret, as well as the giant Ferrari-trucks.
Here you see an overview over the trucks with their huge antennas. Then Bernie Ecclestone and Fernando Alonso before the race.
Also Flavio Briatore was to be seen on many places before the race. On the pits around lunch you could see two guys wearing nice masks of racers. Then they started to push the cars into the technical check.
Finally they are fixing contact copper on the ground, seems to be for security reasons.
